Gorilla Trekking in Uganda and Wildlife Safari 7 days

Day 1:
Pick up from Kampala or Entebbe international Airport and transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park. We shall stop en route at the local drum shops at Mpambire; see the local fruit
market, cross the equator line at Nabusanke. Proceeding en route, expect to see the long curving horned cattle of Ankole.
Arriving in time for Lunch in Mbarara town, we shall thereafter proceed to the park. Less than 10km on our way to the park, there are chances to see elephants, lions, teaming with buffaloes, kobs, hyenas, warthogs, and birds.
We may pass by the Queen Elizabeth scenic craters and the baboon cliffs before checking in at the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge (High end) Or Mweya Hostel (budget).
Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After early morning breakfast at 6.30am we shall depart for our morning game drive in our car. A compact network of game viewing track starts from the channel drive a road running parallel to the northern shore of Kazinga channel. The most common mammals we are likely to see are Warthog, bushbuck and water bucks while elephants can be seen crossing the tracks .There is the Leopard track which may give us opportunity to see leopards and the kasenyi plains will give us higher chances of encountering lions.
Return by Mid-day at the lodge for lunch at the hotel.
After lunch we shall take a 2 hour and 34km long Kazinga channel boat cruise, one of the most rewarding tour experiences in Queen Elizabeth Park giving you the opportunity to approach within a few meters a multitude of yawning hippos, elephants teaming with egrets, yellow billed storks, Goliath heron, crocodiles buffaloes and the occasional leopards. The bird life on the water is fascinating. Expect to see dozens of water birds such as pied kingfisher and many bee-eaters
Return for dinner and overnight in the evening.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi for your gorilla safari
We shall pass via the Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth Park in anticipation of seeing tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight in Buhoma.
Day 4 Gorilla Watching
Wake up by 6.30am and have breakfast at 7am.We shall have to go with our packed lunch. We may spend a full day on a gorilla tour. At 7.30am we shall assemble at the park headquarters for a morning brief about the gorilla tracking rules, from the park staff. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions. You may see the gorilla’s within1-6hours depending on their movement in the forest. You will spend one hour with the gorillas observing them closely while they eat, play and rest. The park staff will also assist you get porters for carrying our packed lunch.
Return in the evening for dinner and over night.
Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After early breakfast we shall go for a 2 hour village walk before returning to Kampala or Entebbe airport. We shall have a lunch stop on the way in Kabale town or Mbarara town en route. Transfer to Lake Mburo National park for Overnight.
Day 6:
After breakfast we shall go for the early morning game drive. You may see Impala,Zebra,Topi,Oribi,Eland,Klipsspringer,buffalo,waterback,reedbuck,warthogs,baboons and vervets .Leopards may be seen but are rare Interesting birds which you may see include Uganda’s Crested crane, Saddle billed stork and Abbyssinian ground hornbills among others. In the afternoon, transfer to Kampala for overnight.
Day 7:
Depending on your flight schedule we shall have Optional Morning Kampala City tour/ Relaxion /Shopping before transfer to Airport.
