Kibale Forest National Park Tour Uganda
Kibale Forest National Park
To the north east of the Queen Elizabeth national Park, this park includes the Mpanga forest. From this forest, 11 species of primates can be viewed. They include families of chimpanzees, Colobus monkey and others.
Accommodation is in Ndali Lodge, which lies on a dead volcano and offers you fantastic African and European cuisine. A European family runs it.
It is a 6-hour drive from Kampala. Tracking of chimpanzees is the major activity and it is advised in the mornings. This area used to be home to migratory elephants but they are now seen less. To be viewed too are bush pigs, Civet cat and warthogs.
