Day 1
Arrive Entebbe airport and transfer to Hotel Equatoria. Afternoon city tour - visiting the historic Kabakas’ (kings) tombs, The Bulange - central administration for the Buganda kingdom, Religious sites, the Museum, the African Craft Village, fruit markets and other places of interest. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Depart Kampala at 10.00hrs for a drive to the Western part of Uganda, commonly known as the ‘land of milk’. Enroute, you will see the African Royal Drum makers at Buwama - Mpigi, a stop over at Equator, will allow you to take some photographs. Proceed to the Park, have lunch at the Park canteen. After lunch, check-in at Mantana African Safaris Tented Camp. After a rest, go for an evening game drive - expect a variety of antelope species - impala, sitatunga, klipspringer, bushbuck, waterbuck, eland, oribi; zebras, species of birds - the national bird - the Crested Crane, the Red Billed stork and others. You will not miss the rolling hills and the diversity of ecosystems. Return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3.
After your breakfast, check out of the Camp. Proceed for a morning game drive. Have a picnic lunch at the kopje. Go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo; expect a variety of aqua species- hippos, water birds. Drive up to Kampala, dinner and overnight at Hotel Equatoria.
