  • Book your gorilla trekking permit at least 3 months in advance
  • If you are going to trek gorillas in Bwindi, do not book accommodation before confirming your gorilla trekking sector

  • Travel during the low season for the best discounts on accommodation
  • Carry some snacks to eat during your trek
  • Carry water or some energy drinks
  • Travel light, one backpack is enough
  • Carry a waterproof bag for your gadgets
  • Plan your tip keeping in mind that it will be shared by more than 5 people (rangers)
