Day 1: Departure from Entebbe to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!In the morning after breakfast, set off for Bwindi impenetrable national park in south western Uganda en route at equator for photography and experimentations proceed to Mbarara, stopover for lunch at igongo cultural Centre and drive to Bwindi impenetrable national via kabale as you enjoy the scenic views of the kigezi hills on your way. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi view bandas (budget), Nkuringo gorilla camp (mid-range), Buhooma lodge (luxury)
Day 2: First Gorilla trek
In the morning go to the park headquarters for briefing and paper work and move to the forest for the breath taking experience of gorilla trekking as you search for the gorillas in their natural habitats of the ever green thick forest. After meeting the gorillas your given 1 hr to take videos and pictures with them and go back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: second gorilla trek and transfer to Mgahinga national park
In the morning after breakfast, go and assemble at the headquarters for briefing by the ranger guides and take the same route in the forest but heading to a different gorilla group which might take you some time to reach the gorillas, after finding them your given 1 hr to take pictures and videos before you exit the forest. Return to the lodge and transfer to Mgahinga national park. Dinner and overnight at mount Gahinga lodge (luxury), Nkuringo safari lodge (midrange), Golden monkey guest house (budget).
Day 4: Gorilla trekking and cultural tour
In the morning after breakfast, move to the park headquarters for briefing and embark on the life time gorilla trekking experience in the forests of Mgahinga. Go on the hike and search the gorillas for 1-8 hrs depending on how far they have gone. Spend 1 hr with them and take pictures then go back to your lodge for refreshments and go for a culture tour in the evening to see the pygmies and learn about their cultures and enjoy their cultural dances. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Drive back to Entebbe for your flight back
After morning breakfast, drive back to Kampala via Kabale to Mbarara stopover at Agip motel for lunch and proceed, stopover at the equator for last shopping and drive to Entebbe airport for your flight back to your next destination.
