Day 1: Entebbe Airport – Dinner and overnight in Entebbe Town
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, you will be welcomed by our professional safari guide/ driver –transfer to 2 friends Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Boat cruise to Ngamba Island
After breakfast, drive to water Front beach in Entebbe- enjoy the boat cruise to Ngamba Island. The journey is amazing and you will be able to cross the Equator – proceed to the Chimps sanctuary. Meet chimps and participate in the feeding of orphaned chimps, take photos/ films. Also view other attraction like monitor lizards and birds among others – Lunch at the island and enjoy a return boat trip back to Entebbe. Dinner and overnight at 2 friends Hotel.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, transfer to the home of mountain Gorillas. Expect two stopovers: 1 at the Equator for photographs and experiments another stopover in Mbarara town for lunch- proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for dinner and overnight at Mahogany Spring Lodge or Chameleons Hill Lodge.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking – afternoon community tour
After breakfast, move into the jungles to trek Gorillas. Meet a group of habituated gorillas- find them feeding, climbing, communicating with each other. Meet Gorillas and enjoy the views, take photos/ films- return to your Lodge for lunch and relax as you prepare for afternoon cultural walks in Batwa community. You will have dinner and overnight at your previous Lodge.
Day 5: Return to Entebbe – Evening departure
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
